  52. I had problems with the new updates too.  I had AMOS on my A1200 with 3.1,
  53. if I had NewIcons running, AMOS would crap out, otherwise it would work. 
  54. So for my A1200, I just did not use NewIcons (yuck!).  When I tried running
  55. AMOS on my A4000T with the Picasso IV and P96, it would always just give me
  56. a black screen and the system would lock-up.  I tried to disable the "No
  57. Borders" with NewIcons on the A4000.  AMOS would start, but I had to hit
  58. Left Amiga+A twice to get to the AMOS screen.  If tried to switch back to
  59. Workbench, the computer would crash.

  61. On my system, I have Miami in the start up.  So, the only reliable way to
  62. get AMOS to run on my A4000 is to make sure Miami has either connected or
  63. has been quit.  Make sure YAM is not running (for some reason when YAM's
  64. running, AMOS acts weird).  And to use a patch from Village Tronic called
  65. SaveDrawA1.  Then I can switch back and forth between AMOS with no problems
  66. and still have NewIcons!

  68. It may seem like a pain in the ass to go through to program some lame
  69. Nibbles clone, but I'm just too damn lazy to learn C.
